Coronista is a Los Angeles based independent recording artist and songwriter whose music draws from the richness, contradictions, and everyday realities of Latino life.

Raised among stories of sacrifice, migration, family, love, celebration, and perseverance, Coronista understands that some of the most meaningful stories are never written down. They're shared across dinner tables, passed between generations, told through laughter, carried in silence, or hidden in the sacrifices people make for those they love.

A writer since childhood, he has always been drawn to the stories behind people. Not just his own experiences, but those he's had the privilege of witnessing along the way. The struggles that go unspoken. The humor that carries us through difficult times. The pride of where we come from. The complicated beauty of everything it takes to get where we are.

His music moves between hip-hop, cumbia, and other Latin influences, embracing the sounds, rhythms, and languages that have shaped his world. English and Spanish coexist naturally, much like the cultures, generations, and experiences reflected in his songwriting.

After a life-changing experience, Coronista decided to take a lifelong relationship with words into the recording studio, transforming stories once kept on paper into music meant to be shared.

His songs don't always tell his story. Sometimes they tell the stories of people whose lives have crossed his path. Sometimes they're celebrations, sometimes reflections, and sometimes questions without easy answers.
